We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental office management and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise office staff, including training and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee fiscal management, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting
- Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate with insurance providers to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement
- Manage human resources functions, including hiring, onboarding, and employee relations
- Implement practice management systems to improve efficiency and productivity
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of office supplies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing inquiries
- Collect patient information and update electronic health records using Epic or eClinicalWorks systems
- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Proficiency in using dental office software systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is preferred but not required
